PUC Chairman Lee Beyer to Keynote CUB 25th Anniversary Dinner

CUB is excited to announce Oregon Public Utility Commission Chairman Lee Beyer as the keynote speaker at our 25th Anniversary Dinner. On Saturday, November 14, 2009, Chairman Beyer will speak on protecting consumers while developing strong energy policy in the Pavilion Ballroom at the Portland Hilton in downtown Portland.
Beyer was appointed to the Public Utility Commission by Governor John Kitzhaber in 2001 and appointed Commission Chairman by Governor Ted Kulongoski in 2003. The Oregon Senate confirmed Commissioner Beyer to another four year term on February 6, 2008.
