If you’re looking for a fun extracurricular activity (or should we say, extra-vehicular) to do tonight in Portland, visit our table about electric vehicles (EVs) at the Sundown at Ecotrust Concert Series and Innovation Showcase. We’ll be talking about the benefits of EVs and technologies that will safely and sustainably connect them to our electrical grid. We’ll also be spreading the word about the EV Roadmap, a new Oregon-centric resource for electric vehicle information. Finally, we’re excited to announce that a Nissan LEAF – an all-electric car – will be on display and its owner will be on hand to answer questions.
Every Thursday evening in July, Ecotrust has transformed its parking lot into a stage and tabling festival. This free series gives Portlanders the opportunity to enjoy great live music and learn about the dozens of organizations doing incredible work on environmental issues.
We would like to thank the EV Roadmap and Energizing Oregon for their sponsorship, which has enabled us to participate in this event series. We’ve been thrilled to participate and share our work on and enthusiasm for electric vehicle technology with the community.
We hope to see you tonight!
