On Friday October 24th, the CUB Policy Center held its fourth annual policy conference, Changing Climate: Adapting to New Regulations, at the University of Oregon’s White Stag building. The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance’s Conduit blog was our media sponsor this year, featuring the conference in their event calendar and posting a recap article written by Clay Norris. Most notably though, Conduit hired a video production company to touch up video footage of the presentations and panels, and has posted them online for everyone in the energy community to enjoy. Thank you Conduit for this valuable service!

The 2014 conference was hugely successful, with a sold-out crowd, lots of spirited discussion, and panels and presentations featuring accomplished speakers from across the energy industry. We remain grateful to our speakers, attendees, and generous sponsors for ensuring the success of Changing Climate.
CUB is also pleased to announce that we have set the date for the 2015 CUB Policy Conference! Our fifth annual conference will take place on Friday, October 23rd at the downtown Portland Hilton. The venue change is a big shift for us and reflects the steadily growing audience and regional impact of the CUB Policy Conference. We are grateful to the University of Oregon for their partnership in hosting the CUB policy conference for the past 4 years, and are excited to see how the event will evolve in this new space.
So, save the date, watch for news about the theme and speaker lineup in spring 2015, and we’ll see you there!
