Celebrating 40 Years of CUB

If you attended CUB’s 40th Anniversary Fundraiser, consider yourself lucky: we sold out! We could not have done it without the support of our CUB community.
On Tuesday, May 15, nearly 100 CUB members, partners, and energy advocates joined us to celebrate 40 years of CUB.
We heard from Tom Novick, who helped found CUB in 1984, about how our work became possible. Long-time Executive Director, Bob Jenks, spoke about his experience working for CUB for over 30 years. And former CUB law clerk and current energy advocate, Silvia Tanner, spoke about the future of energy in Oregon.
We also had an incredibly successful raffle and saw many generous donations from those who joined the celebration. Thanks to all of you, we raised thousands of dollars to fund our efforts to advocate for utility customers like yourself.
