Senator Janeen Sollman

Janeen Sollman was first elected to the Oregon House of Representatives in 2016 and now serves as State Senator for Senate District 15, representing areas of western Washington County. She currently serves as Assistant Majority Leader of the Senate and chairs the Senate Energy and Environment Committee. She also co-chairs the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Education and the Joint Emergency Board on Public Safety.
Prior to her legislative career, Janeen served on the Hillsboro School Board from 2009-2017. For over 26 years, she has worked for Vernier Science Education, an educational scientific technology company based in Beaverton, Oregon.
Janeen is a Metro Master Recycler and serves on the Hillsboro School District Career and College Pathways Steering Committee.
Janeen and her husband Tony have lived in Washington County for 32 years. They raised their two sons in Hillsboro and now enjoy spending time with their two grandchildren.
