Nikita Daryanani

Nikita grew up in Irvine, California and received her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from UC Davis. After graduating, she spent two years working alongside low-income communities of color in California’s Central Valley to advance equitable land use, air quality, and climate policies. She received her Master of Development Practice from UC Berkeley, where her academic research focused on community-driven approaches to development and international policy. At CCC, Nikita helps lead statewide advocacy for energy justice and supports collaborative partnerships between local government and community leaders to advance climate solutions that center the needs and priorities of frontline communities.
