Lizzie Rubado is the Director of Innovation and Development at Energy Trust of Oregon. During 20 years with Energy Trust, Lizzie helped the organization secure its first major outside contract to administer the Oregon Community Solar Program and created the award-winning, community-driven Solarize program. As a member of Energy Trust’s executive leadership and the organization’s first director of innovation and development, Lizzie works to cultivate strategic partnerships, pursue new funding opportunities and elevate the organization’s culture of innovation. She’s a proven leader, skilled facilitator and charismatic spokesperson who excels at bringing people together to make change. She has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Whitman College and lives in Portland, Oregon.
