Emily Moore

Emily Moore is the Senior Director of Sightline Institute’s Climate and Energy program. She leads Sightline’s research and policy advocacy transitioning Cascadia away from fossil fuels and toward cleaner energy sources. Her areas of expertise include the Northwest’s electric transmission grid; policy and regulatory solutions to reducing gas in buildings; and the growing risk of wildfires, including to the region’s climate goals.
Prior to Sightline, Emily was a Senior Project Manager at Dalberg Advisors, a global social sector strategy firm. Emily earned a master’s in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA from Brown University. She now lives in Seattle, where she spends her time e-biking, chasing her toddler, and marveling at the mountains.
